How does infatuation differ from love?

Definition of Infatuation

Definition of Love

  • have a great affection or liking for; "I love French food"; "She loves her boss and works hard for him"

Had a heart to heart talk with my friend earlier. She was heartbroken because her suitor left her hanging. But honestly, I'm glad that they're over. No offense, but I believe that my friend deserves better. My first impression on the guy was a negative one. But I tried to deviate myself from being pessimistic on my first impression on him, so I tried to reach out and get to know him, but my thoughts about him stayed the same.. even much worse. 

As my friend told the reasons why this jerk left her, I began to think, 'Did he really loved her?' Or did he just say those words because 'He's just infatuated with her?' Those thoughts began to drift in my mind, and slowly did I thought that most people say, "I love you.", for them to get their infatuated desires. Not knowing, what they have isn't really love. 

Is it love or mere infatuation?

Hi earthlings! what's in my bag (taken with instagram) left to right:  Umbrella (Grosser Schatten)- You could call me umbrella girl scout, because I always have this handy with me; rain or shine, I have this under my skin. Always keep in mind that quality is better than quantity. If I were you, buy the most expensive umbrella (at least 500), for the quality will stick with you until the end. I have this umbrella for 2 years already. Northanger Abbey (Jane Austen)- I remember my enthusiasm once I bought this book because the price of the book was less than 100. Oh the perks of a classic! But the downside to it, was the sardines font and the old English text that made my mind relaps after reading for some quite time. I don't remember the time when I started reading the book, but I had to say that it's taking me a long while because of all the old English texts. Make-up Stash

I don't know what got me today but I suddenly had an urge to fix my make-up stash (not that it's many). I will surely say that I maintain just the right amount of make-up that I know I could use until the end. I would not definitely buy new ones if I know there's a lot more in my stash, not unless I got it in a cheaper price = SALE or it's already expired. ;) Anyway, since we're at it, I tried coloring my face again with eye shadows that I don't normally use during the day. I usually do this during the times that I'm bored. lol Honestly, I don't even know how to put eye shadow in its right way. I just treat it as an eyeliner, thus the color I placed in my eye, is just near my eye lashes. If only someone could teach me. ;) And of course, with that experimenting or whatever, I would never fail to be vain. Eye bags, please disappear. lalalala ;)
