Honorable Mention

I seriously thought that I did not make it, but I guess my calculations were wrong. HAHA Achieved!  Thank you Lord, so much blessings, so little time. :D

Internship

While this surreal feeling is abundant in my chest, let me write this down because this feeling would never happen again because... ... I passed my first ever job interview in my whole life! and it's just not even a compromised job that I would take if ever I lose all my hopes up. lol I honestly didn't felt that nervous before the interview because I only had little intentions of going through this job (I, honestly, just tried it out of sheer blue), but I guess, God gave me what's best for me (hopefully). And I will be forever grateful if this pushes through. But then, I don't want to jinx it because I still have another (terror-ed) interview to pass! Thank you Lord for giving me this blessing! :D

Back stroke

Image
Since it's the last day of summer for my dear brother, I invited him to swim with me in Ohana. The last time when I was here, was when my friend Mario had his birthday celebration, and that time totally blowed up my mind to swim again.  We swam for two hours and it actually felt so long already. I don't know what happened to the, "swim until sun down attitude that I used to had" lol. Anyway, it was still fun, since my brother taught me some strokes that I had long forgotten. I shall master the back stroke soon!  Back float + blue skies = ultimate stress reliever

Just from a gelatin and a tummy rub drink

Can I just say that my Mom makes the greatest things! She made this yakult + gelatin experiment, which tastes so good especially if you're a yakult fanatic like me. And with that Mom, who would not look up to her greatness, humility and strength; imagine handling a business, a husband, 3 insane kids, and employees; who's, not to mention, dependent on her. MY GULAY life as a Mom is so tiring, but she still pursues to be one - never retiring. I could never imagine life without her. I love you! :D

A fraternal twin: shirt to dress

Image
Ding ding ding! Since most of my first DIY projects were all failures (in my eye), here's one that seemed to go out well. Sorry if the other pictures seemed to be different from the others, the others were shot at night, and I don't even have the necessary photography skills to make it lit worthy. I saw a lot of old clothes my Dad used to wear. I got curious about the pile of clothes so I called my Mom to help me clean it up, imagine my enthusiasm once I saw this shirt! I actually got interested because of the skinny stripes of this one.  So I had the initial intentions to make this as a dress since it was long enough to hide my unwanted peek-a-boos. I cut through the sleeves, as other tutorials from YouTube have taught me.  Since the arm hole was way bigger than what I expected it to be, I decided to join the sides together.  Used the cloths from the sleeves that I had cut from.  TA-DAH! You saw what I did there, ya? And now here's the fi

Something bad, turned out good!

My my my. ;_; Yesterday, as I was cleaning up some files in my laptop, I deleted the iTunes folder, which I usually delete way back before. But later did I remember that the cover arts are all stored there, cover arts that I usually store in every song manually ;_; now they're all down the drain. If you've been mind shouting on me that there's a recycle bin for those kinds of things. Well, I, in no state of mind, wonder how on earth my recycle bin cleaned by itself. D:   Since I downloaded new music, yay (at least, that cheered me up)! I thought of making different mood playlists instead of crying over troubled mishap. Since I have been making crazy senseless/ sensible song titles, I thought of practicing those with my playlist making. I have been planning to make a lot more; probably one playlist every special happening in my life. That would be totally cool, ya? But I still can't believe I have a music note as my view, to every music I listen to, plays.

what's in my bag... for real

what's in my bag (taken with instagram) left to right:  Umbrella (Grosser Schatten)- You could call me umbrella girl scout, because I always have this handy with me; rain or shine, I have this under my skin. Always keep in mind that quality is better than quantity. If I were you, buy the most expensive umbrella (at least 500), for the quality will stick with you until the end. I have this umbrella for 2 years already. Northanger Abbey (Jane Austen)- I remember my enthusiasm once I bought this book because the price of the book was less than 100. Oh the perks of a classic! But the downside to it, was the sardines font and the old English text that made my mind relaps after reading for some quite time. I don't remember the time when I started reading the book, but I had to say that it's taking me a long while because of all the old English texts. Nonetheless, I love reading hard to decipher books rather than teeny weeny easy ones. Alcohol (Hygenix)- You'l

My good friend Clarisse sent this photo to me last year, when we were busy obsessing about our analogue beginnings. Later did I realize that this photo was from that url indicated in the picture. Hihi Thank you miguelgantioqui.tumblr.com  for this comprehensive photo cheat. Every aspiring photographer would surely benefit from this, especially lomographers, who can't see the finish product at the moment they clicked the shutter button. But then, that's the thrill of being a lomographer. :)

REPOST: make it & fake it: Dying Passion T-shirt

make it & fake it: Dying Passion T-shirt : Ever since my sister brought home a bottle of purple Rit NOTHING has been safe from my dying obsession. I told you  here   that I was going to share my ombre dip dye ikea foot stools, but I will start by showing you my "tester" which is one of my dying favorites (actually, who am I kidding, I love them all).   I am not a sucker for instructions, I tend to not follow them, sometimes for the better... others... not so much.   Well for this little tester I def didn't, and it turned out fine, but you should prob follow the instructions on your colors to be sure you will get a good result.   I started by adding some salt (I just tossed some in the bucket) with abt 3 liters of really hot water (my T is cotton so it can take warm water. Then I added a bit of Rit, about 1/5th of the bottle.   I dipped the T 2/3rd's up. I just dipped it and didn't leave it in. Then I added some more Rit and dipped the T but not as f

So my Mom and Bro are back in Manila from Palawan, and you know what that means.... freedom! Hihi I actually thought that it's going to be a loooooong weekend full of work load, but I guess I got used to it that it all seemed to be alright in the end. I saw what you did there. lol For the last two days, I've been manning out my mom's store, and that means waking up early, punching numerous digits into the cash register, getting immune to strangers looking at me and avoiding the gaze of .... (awkward). It all involved some tedious work especially if I'm in charge of all the money matters - somehow getting the right arithmetic was my job. Here's a bunch of accessories, my Mom and Brother bought for me. It's so awesome that my Mom knows what I want, and my cute brother, who picked the one from the left, is amazing for picking a beautiful piece. Isn't it pretty? A very cute turtle that my brother bought for himself! It's so freakin' cute!

Coupons, it is!

Hi Junetizens! (the fact that it's already June and we're here in the web. lol) I'm trying my best to bring back my blogging mojo for everyone's sake, but since I don't really recognize the people who read my blog (if there's any), I'm solely dedicating every blog post to myself. lol How lonesome, aye? Anyway, I don't really care if someone actually reads my blog posts. I blog to express, not to impress. Get it? So anyway, I accompanied my Mom to the mall today for some last minute pampering and payments before her and my brother's trip to Palawan tomorrow. It's actually unfair that they're the only ones leaving for some R&R, and leaving my father and I to handle our business here in Manila; but my Mom sort-of promised to give me my own R&R when they get back, only in the form of freedom . lol Since my Mom had her nails done, I decided to have a trim for my dry edged hair. I got discount coupons and a card too, since I k
