Brand ME

Image
This Wednesday (today) was supposed to be dedicated to my lazy day, that involves too much reading, sleeping, blog-hopping, watching and so much more. But instead, I had to attend a seminar event in school for my ORDEV-C subject.  I know that this seminar was a mandatory event that we had to participate in, most of the times students won't take this seriously. I, myself, is even disturb of the thought that we had to attend an event, even at the time I have my free day. But I guess my day was worth it then. The seminar I attended was entitled "Brand Me". It was supposed to start at 1, but to think about Filipino time (I hate this trait of us, Filipinos), we started around quarter to 2. Ehh, I weren't bored since I have my two friends beside me. Hihi Once the speaker started talking, I tried to entertain and learn things that I could possibly apply with myself, since the name of this event partakes the me. First part was boring, but when he started to show percentage

Waiting for my rocket to come.. cause Falcon got me stranded.

College is the place where you get to learn and experience a lot of new things in life. One example of which is getting stranded, because of the continuous rain and flood outside the school. This scenario would not be happening if it weren't for my school. They knew earlier that continuous rain could lead to flood, not to mention, my course's building is prone to that. So here is my scenario of getting stranded in school. Oh, if you probably did not know. My school has three buildings and those buildings aren't linked to each other. Here's a map of my school. See the box down right that says Angelo King International Center? That's my building. If one may analyze, there's also a visible creek at the back. What's the possible reason why the school has not yet declared official suspension? Here are my opinions: One.  My school is declared to have a trimester system, so for each term there would be only an amount of four months per term. Mind you

Look what Violin got me thinking.

Hi earthlings! I realized I have been blogging so much this past few days and it makes me happy because that means I always have something to going on. ;) But this time around, let me tell you that I have no particular event to share to you. I just thought that may be when I face the blogger-new-post-screen I would be able to produce sensible thoughts to write about. So here I go. Hmm.. This morning, I managed to finish the book that took me ages to finish. FINALLY. You'll probably wondering what took me so long and what this book is. So here it is. Violin by Anne Rice, that I managed to borrow from my friend, Patt (Hi Patt, if you're reading this, I'll be able to give this back to you, finally!). I borrowed it from Patt several months ago (I know, that long!) because I got curious. Let's just say, it's also a literature experiment for me. But seeing my progress in reading this book.. I ain't happy with it. Thus made me conclude literary genres li

Posting something random! My friend Spica asked me a question at formspring.me. She asked me the question above, and I answered it. After that, I browsed the home button just because.. then I saw this. Spica asked all her followers kasi , so eventually same questions. The one who answered was my HS ultimate! :D Read the answer he had about 'how he met Spica?'. That is why I clicked the smiled button! Haha! I dunno but, it just made me smile because I remembered the past. I used to be sooooooo dead-na-dead about him. Hahaha! It just makes me laugh every time I remember what I usually do. Don't worry, he knows that I used to like him. lol Well, anyway, that's just it.  I wish you well, ultimate!

Spark 2011 and Photographer's Ball

Image
So as a week ender and my last event for the week, Patt and I attended the Spark 2011 and Photographer's Ball yesterday at SMX. The workshop started at 3PM, but before that Patt and I got lost finding were that would be held inside SMX. Turns out it was held inside the main venue together with the shops. FAIL! Haha! Anyway, from 3-6PM there were invited speakers to have a 5 minute talk about his/her life as a photographer. Actually, every speaker has a different approach and spoke about different niches from the photography world. There were those who discussed about their photography specialties, while others just discussed about the in's and out's of photography. Anyone would be finding their own identities through each speaker. Truly speaking, 5 minutes ain't enough for a talk about anyone's passion. So the speakers were really pressured, but some actually extended their time because they got carried away. Hihi  Boudoir Dolls, who focuses

Thank You!

A friday afternoon after school, my only goal was to get home immediately. I got the immediate route I could find not really minding if it was hot or I would stand going home. I took a bus which was already full, but since it was Dimple (mah favorite bus), I rode it. I was standing for about 5 minutes when a guy tapped me and asked me to take his seat. Do you know the feeling that you have to give back to the person the good thing he did to you? The feeling that you don't want to be comfortable in your seat, cause you know that you should be the one standing up and feeling uneasy, instead of other people doing the favor for you? The feeling when you're seating and all you think of is, 'how gentleman this guy is'? I felt that feeling earlier and I only feel this, everytime there comes a scenario like this. It's as if, you have a huge sense of gratitude to the person, even if you know you did not want them to do that for you. But in the end, a simple "Thank

Happy 100 years La Salle!

So yesterday was the official day to celebrate the hundredth year, Lasallian brothers went to the country. To commemorate this day, there was an event at De La Salle University. That's Kim and Nicole beside me. But first in my list, I had to go and attend an event at MAFBEX. So I went to PAL to have lunch with Nicole and my new found friend, Kim. They toured me around the building and the building was humongous! There were a lot of space vacant and it seems like there were a lot of paths that leads to somewhere.  lol She welcomed us! Shakey's bus inside WTC. Amazzzzing! A shop inside MAFBEX. Animo La Salle! Utak Berde's cake! Go Joanna, Alay, Neiza, Dianne! Green Minded's cake! Go Ezza and group mates! ;) After having lunch, we went straight to MAFBEX, which was just beside PAL. I wasn't impressed with today's MAFBEX. There weren't enough people and I got disappointed with the shops. Oh well. The
