Happy Post-Valentines Day! Initially had no plans to celebrate Valentine's day yesterday. Though I wanted to make it special for the family, the plan got flushed down the toilet because of sudden reasons.  I admit that I haven't been sociable these past few days. Probably the lack of enthusiasm to think of topics to talk about, gravely makes me want to go home right after work. Yeah, boring, I know. Fortunately, this Valentines day turned the tables around. Even if my tummy is in coma from all the food that I ate during yesterday's lunch (no tantamount of waiting could make it go away), I forced myself to meet up with friends. Originally thought of having an intimate Valentine's dinner with Faith and Aldwin , but it turned out to be merrier when we got to bumped into the others. Planned dinner was at a Korean Restaurant in Adriatico St.,  next to Harbour Square and finally MoA.  @ Hong Kong Cafe We got to fill our tummies around 10PM, and we were...

New Years Eve

Image
As always, New Years Eve was celebrated at home with the relatives, but this time only my Lola and Tito visited us- rounding up a very intimate dinner. Nonetheless, it was fun and fulfilling. I love love love Mom's Carbonara! I'm not really in the mood to elaborate, so let the photos do the telling... not much though. Intimate dinner with candlelight is intimate.  My brothers playing Gears of War while waiting for midnight. Fireworks from afar, since Muntinlupa banned selling fireworks.  What I did while waiting for the clock to strike 12.  ♡

When you have nothing, you still have the least.

This year, a lot of time was given for me to prepare for Christmas because school's not acting a bit rough, but sadly, the Christmas spirit did not poke me at all, making any special treats missing-in-action. Though yesterday's Christmas Eve gave me some dose of Christmas spirit, it left me hanging and feeling sad because I did not had the chance to do anything good. I can't say it was my worst Christmas because I still felt happy for some part of it, but I could say that this was the 'least' Christmas I felt. But for the 'least' part here's my favorites. Christmas party for employees of my parents business was fun. I was there watching, but I laughed my butt out all the way.  Christmas money from my relatives. Time for me to buy the book that I want. :D Simple bonding over food with my favorite people in the world, my family.  ♡ My brothers birthday, which wasn't that special, but at least I made him feel he was loved.  ♡ I got to wear th...

Foodtrip Wednesday

Food for the gods. Yum! Must finish the film! So excited to see my shots! How could anyone be so negative, when being positive is a whole lot better?  My family and I had lunch at Pepper Lunch today. Just a simple celebration for my Mom's birthday last Monday! But this celebration was all sponsored by Standard Chartered , just because. It was a simple dine out, but it filled my heart with joy. Having good food plus a complete family can certainly boost my system. After eating, we also had another free-- an ice cream from Golden Spoon. It wasn't as good as my favorite yogurt ice cream, but being free has its limits, right? Not ending our food trip yet, my mom and I bought Food for the gods at Mary Grace. We never would have known what this shop would offer it weren't for someone. I was surprised when my mom still remembered things from the past. But it does not bother me, because the past is certainly.. would forever be a part of me. On a side n...

Spark 2011 and Photographer's Ball

Image
So as a week ender and my last event for the week, Patt and I attended the Spark 2011 and Photographer's Ball yesterday at SMX. The workshop started at 3PM, but before that Patt and I got lost finding were that would be held inside SMX. Turns out it was held inside the main venue together with the shops. FAIL! Haha! Anyway, from 3-6PM there were invited speakers to have a 5 minute talk about his/her life as a photographer. Actually, every speaker has a different approach and spoke about different niches from the photography world. There were those who discussed about their photography specialties, while others just discussed about the in's and out's of photography. Anyone would be finding their own identities through each speaker. Truly speaking, 5 minutes ain't enough for a talk about anyone's passion. So the speakers were really pressured, but some actually extended their time because they got carried away. Hihi  Boudoir Dolls, who focuses...

Happy 100 years La Salle!

Image
So yesterday was the official day to celebrate the hundredth year, Lasallian brothers went to the country. To commemorate this day, there was an event at De La Salle University. That's Kim and Nicole beside me. But first in my list, I had to go and attend an event at MAFBEX. So I went to PAL to have lunch with Nicole and my new found friend, Kim. They toured me around the building and the building was humongous! There were a lot of space vacant and it seems like there were a lot of paths that leads to somewhere.  lol She welcomed us! Shakey's bus inside WTC. Amazzzzing! A shop inside MAFBEX. Animo La Salle! Utak Berde's cake! Go Joanna, Alay, Neiza, Dianne! Green Minded's cake! Go Ezza and group mates! ;) After having lunch, we went straight to MAFBEX, which was just beside PAL. I wasn't impressed with today's MAFBEX. There weren't enough people and I got disappointed with the shops. Oh well. The...

Yesterday, my family and I went to eat out because.. err.. I don't really know. Okay, let's pretend we celebrated Independence Day! Haha! We ate at the new franchise of Chic-Boy in Montillano. After eating, we went straight home and I did some camwhoring.  *vandalizing your head with my vain-ness* Hihihi ;) There's a reason why I did this pose!  And this appears to be the reason, minus the eyeglasses. Hahaha! This is his  ™  pose. *wink *wink ;) This is what you asked for.
