Just from a gelatin and a tummy rub drink

Can I just say that my Mom makes the greatest things! She made this yakult + gelatin experiment, which tastes so good especially if you're a yakult fanatic like me. And with that Mom, who would not look up to her greatness, humility and strength; imagine handling a business, a husband, 3 insane kids, and employees; who's, not to mention, dependent on her. MY GULAY life as a Mom is so tiring, but she still pursues to be one - never retiring. I could never imagine life without her. I love you! :D

My favorite mistake

Tryin' what a light post could do to a 200 iso film at night; + burn. A blurry + grainy shot of a statue elephant. Close up: fast moving car turning into light streaks. Light streaks from the sun + a shadow of my friend somewhere along the leaves. Obvious failed attempt to hold on to a cloud. The mixture of colored pens + plastic cover = DIY colored lens; + burns. Obvious intersection of people-over-people. I swear to you that the fading pink flower was my main subject. NOT Once again, the leaves were my subject. *sarcasm* Life isn't this dark and orange-y. Light streaks from the stairs. You know how certain subscriptions on the web gave you monthly mail about their website? Well, the Lomography website gave a web magazine sometime last month and (don't screw what I'm about to say) I had just recently opened the links connected to the mail. Talk about late! But I guess reading from it, makes me miss...

400, I love thee

Last September 25, which was a... I'm going to look first at the cale... ahhh, it's a Sunday. So, yes, it was last Sunday when I had a little experiment. Since I finally have Tanya, my Holga baby, I have been planning to use an ISO 400 film to have its first children. I used my ever reliable digicam to see the possible outcomes an ISO 400 can do; may it be sunny, hazy or indoor. So in conclusion, I am pretty much in love with 400 right now. It gives just the right amount of light indoors, while a little much overexposed outdoors. Nonetheless, I love overexposing my photos rather than underexposing them. I must learn how to play with the light the sun gives, to add depth to the picture.  I just noticed right now that there in my planner indicated is Koya Archie's birthday! Belated happy birthday Koya, you have been featured! Hahaha <3

The Attempt to Experiment

School has officially ended last Friday. My academic life officially dies and I am stuck with all this practical work for school. But as I am on break, waiting for all the dates to come by as they may. I come back to my trusty hobby of experimenting. Since I have a bunch of unused films up in stack, I was thinking of some worthy shots to try on. Since film is just a one time shot shoot, I first tried on going digital shooting with my not-so-good camera. Earning inspiration from lomography.com and some groups I joined in facebook, I tried on some shots with the use of plastic, OHP pens, sunglasses and even screens. hihi Well anyway, devour in my latest fantasy. the effect of plastic cover and red-orange OHP pens the noisy effect of our screen window the effect of my Forever 21 sunglasses: see the difference on the left and right? still using my sunglasses, enabled the flash and look what happened, sort-of a multiple exposure see the blue patterned he...
