I'm on for an outfit shot once again. It's been a while and I know that I still suck on lighting my photos well. Damn, artificial lights are so darn hard to fix. Anyway, forgive the rambles for I am just disappointed. Anyway... I am so deeply and irrevocably in love with detachable collars. I know I loathe them before, but now is a total make-over. I somehow gave them a chance when I saw a lot of bloggers trying it out. Why not, right? It makes an outfit a little bit formal and classy. You guys should try it out, it may seem weird at first, but you'll eventually get a hang of it. This outfit was worn when my family and I had dinner at Ho Chai Lai for my Dad's late late birthday celebration. As usual, Chinese food would forever be filling our tummies.

Fashion Forward

As always, I had the urge to dress up when my family and I are heading out, even if it's just for church or a simple get together. Well but this time, it's still the holidays so it's so much better to incorporate looks. I think I'm becoming more and more fashion forward as the years go by. Probably one big thing that influenced me are the fashion bloggers that I follow, add it up to the daily updates from collegefashion.net, and my forever favorite- style-arena.jp. I have learned to adapt, that with whatever event you're planning to go to, you have to look your best and there has to be something different/striking/good/pretty about your outfit. Sometimes I do tend to dress simply, but I make it a point to dress up with a thousand accessories, just because... For the New Year, I tried following the trends. I wore my favorite polka dot dress and wore a red belt to divert a different feeling to the outfit. I also wore my flowery tights just because I miss wearing ...

Necklace: Somewhere, Top: Baleno, Skirt: World Trade Center Bazaar, Bag: SM Department Store I don't know how to start this entry about my outfit, so here's me trying. This is what I wore this Christmas. I have been wanting to wear this red midi skirt since I bought it at the World Trade Center. I paired it with my purple sleeveless top because I think this skirt deserves a more dressier top, but since sleeveless reveals more skin -- I can associate it as dressier. LOLwhut? (I never told you before that I suck at describing, right? Well now you know.) I accessorized it with the pearl I bought during Christmas Eve, to achieve a more classier get up. (Did I mention that I'm beginning to love pearls now? Isn't it classy?) And lastly, my never a mess fringe bag, which I think adds a different feeling to the outfit. I know I suck. Sorry :( Anyhow, I'll be posting something relevant next to this, so I guess that would complement it.

I have been waiting for the day that I would be able to wear my Kimono look-a-like top and now was the right time!  Kimono sheer top: Yhansy from Supersale Bazaar. Cuffed shorts: Jag. I wore the top with shorts to balance out the long sleeves of the top. I always have this thought that once you covered one part, you have to open up the other to make things a little interesting.  /say no to lousy outfit Framed flower bracelet: A gift from Singapore. Statement necklace: A store I forgot from Supersale Bazaar. Nude wedges: Mendrez It's my first time sharing this, but I have a huge influence with anything Japanese. I used to watch a lot of Japanese Dramas and had my own share of favorites like- Hana Yori Dango, Kurosagi, Absolute Boyfriend, Nobuta Wo Produce and many more. But ever since, God knows when, I lost my sudden interest in it. Though my usual preference for Japanese fashion still stays with me, like what I wore now. This Kimono type t...
