A fraternal twin: shirt to dress

Image
Ding ding ding! Since most of my first DIY projects were all failures (in my eye), here's one that seemed to go out well. Sorry if the other pictures seemed to be different from the others, the others were shot at night, and I don't even have the necessary photography skills to make it lit worthy. I saw a lot of old clothes my Dad used to wear. I got curious about the pile of clothes so I called my Mom to help me clean it up, imagine my enthusiasm once I saw this shirt! I actually got interested because of the skinny stripes of this one.  So I had the initial intentions to make this as a dress since it was long enough to hide my unwanted peek-a-boos. I cut through the sleeves, as other tutorials from YouTube have taught me.  Since the arm hole was way bigger than what I expected it to be, I decided to join the sides together.  Used the cloths from the sleeves that I had cut from.  TA-DAH! You saw what I did there, ya? ...

Whatever happened to Spice Girls?

Image
This picture happened to be produced last Saturday when our supposed to be night out in some club turned out to be a food trip and walk trip galore. First intention was to baptize everyone to the world of clubbing by yours truly, but since it was a last minute call for all of us, we decided to score the new places in Town. We spent our time in Timezone to relief our tensions from too much separation. I can sense the space girls, lighten up! So eventually after all those tiring games: from the massage chair, gorilla shaking, car racing, karaoke, ball screen targeting, basketball and dance revo; our tummies got flatten and our thin figures just had a lot more thinning going on. We all went to spend our dinner at Soderno. It was all our first time to be there! My initial expectations of the place was for it to be crowded, but I was wrong. The place had a lot of free space that we easily scored what to eat. I was not really in the mood to try different selections of food; actually, ...

We all have that little dream we've been hiding from others — that dream we silently hope of doing in our lives, but still has not made progress just because... I bet you don't know that I had a secret dream to be in a band. That started out when I was in HS, when the mainstream past time was to form bands and play instruments. I even asked my Dad to buy me a guitar; the progress — I learned to play one song. See?.. progress right there. (period) Not to mention, I (also) know how to play the keyboards. My grandmother pushed me to have lessons of such when I was in Grade 4, but stopped after sometime because I realized that it wasn't for me. Just before April 5, I continue to lived that silent dream — mainly my mind was acting to my dream and my body's on idle mode (like seriously) —but  when my friend Patt asked me to model a sort-of Rockband album shoot, it was like a dream come true. LOL I guess my tiny little dream got exposed without her knowing. Hihi ...

Happy Post-Valentines Day! Initially had no plans to celebrate Valentine's day yesterday. Though I wanted to make it special for the family, the plan got flushed down the toilet because of sudden reasons.  I admit that I haven't been sociable these past few days. Probably the lack of enthusiasm to think of topics to talk about, gravely makes me want to go home right after work. Yeah, boring, I know. Fortunately, this Valentines day turned the tables around. Even if my tummy is in coma from all the food that I ate during yesterday's lunch (no tantamount of waiting could make it go away), I forced myself to meet up with friends. Originally thought of having an intimate Valentine's dinner with Faith and Aldwin , but it turned out to be merrier when we got to bumped into the others. Planned dinner was at a Korean Restaurant in Adriatico St.,  next to Harbour Square and finally MoA.  @ Hong Kong Cafe We got to fill our tummies around 10PM, and we were...

Is it really what I think it is?

This would probably be the weirdest post I'll ever had.  Lo and behold! My black flats that's utterly torn and decayed.  Just before the year started, I told myself to buy new things for the new year. Time spent on other things was (I guess) prioritized, which led me to forget to buy some necessities and that includes a replacement for such shoes. This pair of flats that is downright miserable in itself, lasted for quite a while. To tell you a little history, when I bought this pair at SM, it was the last pair of that style. I was indeed very lucky to find such pair of shoe in my size (though a little pricey than what I expected to buy), it was worth it. This pair of flats saved me from all the struggles of walking, the unexpected rain, the sickening flood, and all those hassles in life. I never had such a pair that sustained me through all those bad memories. LOL. I admit though, that in some way, I took these shoes for granted. I am sorry. :(  But this da...

Make-up Stash

Image
I don't know what got me today but I suddenly had an urge to fix my make-up stash (not that it's many). I will surely say that I maintain just the right amount of make-up that I know I could use until the end. I would not definitely buy new ones if I know there's a lot more in my stash, not unless I got it in a cheaper price = SALE or it's already expired. ;) Anyway, since we're at it, I tried coloring my face again with eye shadows that I don't normally use during the day. I usually do this during the times that I'm bored. lol Honestly, I don't even know how to put eye shadow in its right way. I just treat it as an eyeliner, thus the color I placed in my eye, is just near my eye lashes. If only someone could teach me. ;) And of course, with that experimenting or whatever, I would never fail to be vain. Eye bags, please disappear. lalalala ;)

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Just want to post something random. This was my very first stored value card, which I bought yesterday. Firsts are everything. :> But today totally blew that 'everything' off. My SVC got invalid, thus I have to retrieve it next week for its replacement. #1stbadluck Pikachu is always irresistably cute! :> Plastic or real? Hihi :> So hard to understand what the reason is. Ehhh This is so scary and yet so cute! :> Hi bro *high six*! As my brother always tell me, 'Kizmo is always sad and down'.  Waiting for Richard, our driver, to drive me to the mall. My welcome screen!
