The Visa Experience

Should have, would have, could have: the past that could not go back to Hypothetically speaking and deep language arises to shallow, as I state that this blog post should have been posted last 31 August 2012, but since my (un)consistent self of free time did not allow me to think of posting one blog post, here it is: I had to wake up around 5:30 on a Friday morning because of one thing: it's my Visa Interview day! My schedule was at 9:00AM, so my Dad and I decided to leave the house at 7. Just about the half of the expressway, we were already stuck in parking lot traffic. My Dad was so stressed and kept telling me that we should have had left a little more early. When the stress happened, my already nervous self, became more stressed and nervous as ever. My Dad decided to switch paths and had gone through Pasay instead of passing through Manila, which is a genius idea (I must say). We reached the Embassy around 8:30AM, just in time to breathe before the schedule.

Fulfillment!

I just noticed that I haven't blogged in a while. Work's been so busy! Oh wait, scratch that. Work's time has been so demanding that I don't have the extra energy to blog consistently. Gomenasai! Don't have much to share now anyway. One significant thing happened yesterday though. I think it was the biggest thing I have ever contributed in my company, in my own expense. So let me do the bragging. :-P My boss asked me to make a video for her speech on Monday, which is due at the end of the day. I accepted the job because I know that I am somehow experienced in doing this (since my FRONOP required one before). Morning: I started piling up my ideas about how the video is going to run through. Come lunch, I haven't had a visual plan, the computer's acting really bitchy plus my colleagues and I bought food that took us 2 hours *insert bad vibes* . I was half-panicking right after eating lunch (it was around 2:30PM by then). How is it possible to make a de...

When you have nothing, you still have the least.

This year, a lot of time was given for me to prepare for Christmas because school's not acting a bit rough, but sadly, the Christmas spirit did not poke me at all, making any special treats missing-in-action. Though yesterday's Christmas Eve gave me some dose of Christmas spirit, it left me hanging and feeling sad because I did not had the chance to do anything good. I can't say it was my worst Christmas because I still felt happy for some part of it, but I could say that this was the 'least' Christmas I felt. But for the 'least' part here's my favorites. Christmas party for employees of my parents business was fun. I was there watching, but I laughed my butt out all the way.  Christmas money from my relatives. Time for me to buy the book that I want. :D Simple bonding over food with my favorite people in the world, my family.  ♡ My brothers birthday, which wasn't that special, but at least I made him feel he was loved.  ♡ I got to wear th...

The Moon shines above us

This is what happens when you're with your high school friend (or rather grade school best friend).  You spend the early nights together for some relaxed conversations before the school starts.

Enlightenment, anyone?

Image
I just found out a site recently that mainly talks about life and all those positive wonders. You know my interests in these kinds of sites, that basically helps me in searching meaning towards life. I'm beginning to think that I'm the girl version of Siddhartha Gautama, when he left everything just so he could search for enlightenment, the only difference is that I have not left everything to find my will. This site I discovered is entitled  Tiny Buddha , wondering why the owner named that site as such is not a complicated topic. Opinion wise, it was probably from the Buddhism culture where they call their God "Buddha" and enlightenment is the main connection. Tiny Buddha mainly talks about life, positivity and self-fulfillment, wholly that's what I need. So if ever you guys need some enlightenment and a little push on the upscale of life, just visit this site and slowly swallow every positive thing you read, you will be loving yourself more in no time....

Anti-jeans!

You know my fascination with packages! Around 12noon a package arrived at my house, like the last time I ordered films. Xend.com has incredibly fast delivery service. :D This time around, a dress arrived from  theonlyukayqueen  from the bid I won to. I have been very much fascinated with ukay buys and thrift shops, that soon I am actually planning to go buy for myself.  The dress is actually short since the string also pulls it up, but I love its shortness. I am beginning to be a skirt and shorts girl so I assume a very girly me soon. Hihi  Anti-jean rule for myself!

The Sunflower Planting Project

Image
Remember the post that I posted my new project? The Sunflower Planting Project!  First Day. I watched Youtube, and the video I watched advised me to germinate the seed first in a plastic together with a damp paper towel. Third Day. Fourth Day. On the fifth day, which is today, I finally decided to plant it. Since this plant is obviously wilted, I decided to recycle it. This was the first pot I chose to plant with, but it seems quite small. Got my gardening gloves at hand, loljoke, it's surgical gloves! :P This is the hard part! Pulling the plant out of the pot. The root were so strong! It reminded me of Harry Potter and the Mandrake they studied for Herbology class. I somehow imagined the roots crying. Hahaha! me and my imagination. >.< Mandrake! loljoke  That's me killing it! Hahaha! Tada! The sprouts are now planted! It was supposed to be three sprouts, but the other one lost the c...

Packages arouses me

Image
Nothing beats receiving packages directly at home, either expected or unexpected. One of the simple joys I enjoy in life, are surprises and having a package delivered into your doorstep is one way of surprising because you could never expect the exact time a package arrives even if you're the one who ordered it.  The pack of films arrived this afternoon and it puts me in great glee. Not that I am way to excited to use it (well, maybe a part of that too), but the fact that a package arrived arouses me. It also made me happy that the package arrived safely and, not to mention, fast! I had to comment  Ms. Kara  for the smooth and fast transaction!  So if you guys need anything from analogue cameras to film, she absolutely have those. Try texting her and she'll reply fast, and she's actually very patient (read past blog post). A thumbs up! Having this transaction made me want to order more!

What could be more grateful than a whole lot of blessings visually given straight out from heaven? Yesterday was another one of the days when I would go to school. Unexpectedly though, a lot of blessings came knocking in. Freebies from Roxy, Quicksilver, DC and Kickers. There was an assembly of people gathering at our school lobby during lunch time, and being one of the curious students, I invited myself to join. I was with Nicole, Belay and Jian, at that time. At first, we were hesitant but since it was free we just grabbed the opportunity of getting freebies. Basta libre, GO! A text from Ms Shai from Cathay Pacific for my OJT. I got this text during my second to the last class during the yesterday afternoon. At first, it was Nicole who read it from her phone. Excitedly after, I checked my phone to see this message too. I got so happy Nicole said I turned red. Haha! The result of wishful thinking and continous checking of results from my calculator. Last week my...

Embrace changes! Shouldn't everyone?

Yesterday, without proper planning, my mom hired our laundry ladies to help clean the house. I was not warned before hand, so I did not have proper mind thinking. They started out with the old room, in which I used to stay in. After an hour, they switched to my room and cleaned every side of it. This gave me a thought to reassemble the parts of my room. From the usual bed-near-the-window-with-its-broken-bed-board , it was switched around like the photos below. Still needs a bit of styling though! The bed now lies facing the window and beside the door. I removed the old-nasty-broken bed boards and just revived my old mattress. I have been trying to persuade my parents to buy me a new bed. ;)  These are all the clothes and junk hidden on that old room, I used to reside in. Look at all those clothes! Looks like garbage in some point? But can be someone's treasure. Last night, we kind-of-like held a garage sale , Ehh!, it was a Terrace sale. ...
