Drinks on us!

Image
I would not necessarily call this a routine-ary thing, but my girlaloos from high school and I, meet up again for some lunch and drinks at San Mig Pub (our usual mood enhancer place). But before anything else, we gave the new wing at Alabang Town Center a chance to be tasted. We ate at Bannapple, as recommended by Ms. Manauis *wink wink* #24 . Since servings seemed a bit large for our small tummies, we only ordered two dishes for us to share. Patt and I ordered the three sausage parmigiano (if I’m not mistaken); while Drei and Dorothy ordered the chicken with like spaghetti cheese and rice, that I did not like, because I had a past memory of some sort that I ate that almost led me to barfing D:. Anyway, the three sausages were so yummy, that I almost forgot my name! lol Highly recommended. We also had the Apple pie cake (lol, I don't know what it is called), which was okay. I don't really like apples. *bleh* After the most heavenly lunch, we walked around ...

Whatever happened to Spice Girls?

Image
This picture happened to be produced last Saturday when our supposed to be night out in some club turned out to be a food trip and walk trip galore. First intention was to baptize everyone to the world of clubbing by yours truly, but since it was a last minute call for all of us, we decided to score the new places in Town. We spent our time in Timezone to relief our tensions from too much separation. I can sense the space girls, lighten up! So eventually after all those tiring games: from the massage chair, gorilla shaking, car racing, karaoke, ball screen targeting, basketball and dance revo; our tummies got flatten and our thin figures just had a lot more thinning going on. We all went to spend our dinner at Soderno. It was all our first time to be there! My initial expectations of the place was for it to be crowded, but I was wrong. The place had a lot of free space that we easily scored what to eat. I was not really in the mood to try different selections of food; actually, ...

Being different

Yesterday was the start of my second on-the-job training ('cause my course requires two trainings: in house and out) for school. Apart from all the airline companies I applied to, fortunately there was one who took me and my friends in. It's no other than Thai Airways International, which is situated in Makati. Though my friends and I wanted to have our practicum in NAIA (for some reason.. HEHE), I think being accepted in Thai Airways also has its up sides. More on that soon... moving on. Later that night, Faith , Aldwin , Ralph and I went to The Collective at Malugay St. Makati, to try Ralph's favorite restaurant- Wabi-Sabi . I don't know how on earth did Ralph suddenly suggested to pursue the place (Ralph, you must admit to me, right now! LOL), but anyway, it was something new for us, so it's alright. Forgive me, for I have some short memory span. I forgot all the names of our orders, but those two foods in the bowl are ramen ...

Pepperoni Pizza

Image
The usual family bonding with food is up again. We ate merienda at California Kitchen Pizza for free, thanks to Standard Charter's promo. My family would never eat here not unless it's free, because as they say, the food's very plain and ordinary. Nonetheless, you can't say no to anything free. Thank you credit card promos! Christmas is just around the corner. ;) Zee cute little brother. /makes pisil Zee parents. Yiie! <3 Kuya, why you no picture? :(

Exploring August

Image
Food craving! We're stuffed! Failed to have long hair! It looks like a vest. @_@ View from SDA, while it rained so hard. Thus the droplets from the window. One of our simple joys indeed! Almon Marina: Yummiest food on earth!, or maybe we're just that hungry. This pretty much sums up my last two heavenly and eggly (if there's even a word? lol) days with my friend Patt! It was quite awesome when we decided to go around Glorietta on a Monday, just because we're bored. Being with Patt, I always assume that we're going to go shopping for clothes or shoes or bags, but it turned to be different this time. On a Monday, we just had our random window shopping plus awesome video and photo footage of our awesome boredom world. Tuesday though was quite unexpected, since it turned out to have another suspension because of the rain, I had her at exploring mode once again, having an awesome boredom day now at SM Southmall....

Foodtrip Wednesday

Food for the gods. Yum! Must finish the film! So excited to see my shots! How could anyone be so negative, when being positive is a whole lot better?  My family and I had lunch at Pepper Lunch today. Just a simple celebration for my Mom's birthday last Monday! But this celebration was all sponsored by Standard Chartered , just because. It was a simple dine out, but it filled my heart with joy. Having good food plus a complete family can certainly boost my system. After eating, we also had another free-- an ice cream from Golden Spoon. It wasn't as good as my favorite yogurt ice cream, but being free has its limits, right? Not ending our food trip yet, my mom and I bought Food for the gods at Mary Grace. We never would have known what this shop would offer it weren't for someone. I was surprised when my mom still remembered things from the past. But it does not bother me, because the past is certainly.. would forever be a part of me. On a side n...

The 5 hour sleep.

Image
Yesterday was another unanticipated Friday. Three hours a subject ain't that nice, add to it the fact that I just had 5 hours sleep because I was studying for a quiz, tweeting (can't help it) and practicing for my report. I had a report in my Human Resource subject class and, I think, my group mates and I totally did a great job. I am beginning to hate this subject though. It just feels so heavy attending this class. Every time there would be a quiz, the quiz would all just be an objective type one. My professor solely wants our answers to be word-for-word with her notes. I know its not that hard to memorize, but its not that practical! Or.. Maybe I'm just not in that phase to memorize a lot. Anyway, I am still not convinced that it maybe is just me who is acting all this up. There is still something wrong. Moving on.. After that class, Faith and I planned on having lunch at main just because. :") Hihi But since Faith thought it would be obvious if we eat at ma...

Chickens have their way to my family.

It's the third consecutive week that we ate at Kenny Roger's. My family had (again) our usual rounds of the famous whole grilled chicken together with side dishes and muffins on the side. But this time, my uncle and grandmother came to join us. It usually is just the five of us, but now, we're seven! Ever wondered why we always dine here at Kenny's? Because we have a privilege to enjoy free food and in weeks time the promo is about to end, so we try our best to maximize our privileges. But to tell you, I am sick of all these chickens. Haha! Later after eating my set of food, I just had to blurt out loud. 'Ayoko naaaa!' Just weeks of consecutive habits makes me bored and sick . It made me realize that constant usual work without any randomity makes life boring and predictable. Every work we do should have some spice and everything nice. Hihi. I usually tell myself how unpredictable myself could be. I do not know but I have a double sided thing in myself. ...
