Goodreads: Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Image
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green My rating: 4 of 5 stars Thought it was a cliche story about two people meeting each other with the same name. It's sort of a breather to read books like this, that does not lead to any love story, but represents more of actual friendship and appreciation- just like Looking for Alaska (my favorite!) Too much gay people are in this book... but who cares right? View all my reviews

Murakami ♡

Image
Before anything else, here's the long overdue post about my new book. I don't usually take time to devour myself with pictures of books, but this Murakami book is worth everything. I bought the book last December 26, right after I got my Christmas money and now I'm broke again. lol So far, I'm still not done with the first book (it contains 3 books but the translator compiled the books into one). Descriptions are heavy, but I like it just the way it is. I really am in love with Murakami's writing.  ♡

Goodreads: Swimsuit

Image
Swimsuit by James Patterson My rating: 3 of 5 stars It was my second attempt to read it, and this time I had the time to finish it. The first part was boring, but the latter changed the game. The moment I finished the book, I threw it somewhere in my room. I imagined the killer spying on me like the ones on the book. Say exaggerating, but my imaginations are that wide. I never want to read a book like this ever again... (or maybe one more could do). LOL View all my reviews

Exploring August

Image
Food craving! We're stuffed! Failed to have long hair! It looks like a vest. @_@ View from SDA, while it rained so hard. Thus the droplets from the window. One of our simple joys indeed! Almon Marina: Yummiest food on earth!, or maybe we're just that hungry. This pretty much sums up my last two heavenly and eggly (if there's even a word? lol) days with my friend Patt! It was quite awesome when we decided to go around Glorietta on a Monday, just because we're bored. Being with Patt, I always assume that we're going to go shopping for clothes or shoes or bags, but it turned to be different this time. On a Monday, we just had our random window shopping plus awesome video and photo footage of our awesome boredom world. Tuesday though was quite unexpected, since it turned out to have another suspension because of the rain, I had her at exploring mode once again, having an awesome boredom day now at SM Southmall....

Goodreads: Ligo na u, Lapit na me

Image
Ligo na u, Lapit na me by Eros S. Atalia My rating: 3 of 5 stars The story was concentrated in Intoy's life as a college student and the aftermath. Jen was just a chapter of his life, ending quickly after he heard about an un-desiring news about her. Through out the long gone without her, Intoy kept searching and waiting.. not really knowing what he is searching and waiting for.. A lot of questions has been running through his mind, unspoken and, yet, unanswered. A long winding thought that seeks answers. Closure.. he's longing for closure, and yet he still questions.. A long train of questions.. ..to be continued. View all my reviews

Hunger Games!

Image
Want more? Have you guessed where I have been all my life? loljoke. For about two days already, I literally hanged-out in a different location, which is quite unlikely. You see, my father got hospitalized yesterday morning and I have been spending my time in the hospital. With barely a morning face without any trace of make-up, I went early in the hospital. Good thing I got my laptop at hand, I thought of so much things to do.. and that involves the use of an internet connection. Sadly though, the wi-fi was not free anymore *sobs* . So I spent my morning reading.. 'The Hunger Games' *insert jolly face* . Through out my reading, I got tired and the oplan camwhore happened.. again. Haha! Pardon my face, I got less than 5 hours of sleep before that, and I remembered that I drank coffee, which made me, unsleepy. Tomorrow would be the sort-of operation my father would have to go to. I hope it goes well. Wish him well. Adios!

Look what Violin got me thinking.

Hi earthlings! I realized I have been blogging so much this past few days and it makes me happy because that means I always have something to going on. ;) But this time around, let me tell you that I have no particular event to share to you. I just thought that may be when I face the blogger-new-post-screen I would be able to produce sensible thoughts to write about. So here I go. Hmm.. This morning, I managed to finish the book that took me ages to finish. FINALLY. You'll probably wondering what took me so long and what this book is. So here it is. Violin by Anne Rice, that I managed to borrow from my friend, Patt (Hi Patt, if you're reading this, I'll be able to give this back to you, finally!). I borrowed it from Patt several months ago (I know, that long!) because I got curious. Let's just say, it's also a literature experiment for me. But seeing my progress in reading this book.. I ain't happy with it. Thus made me conclude literary genres li...

Having a Coke with You

is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, IrĂșn, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona partly because in your orange shirt you look like a better happier St. Sebastian partly because of my love for you, partly because of your love for yoghurt partly because of the fluorescent orange tulips around the birches partly because of the secrecy our smiles take on before people and statuary it is hard to believe when I’m with you that there can be anything as still as solemn as unpleasantly definitive as statuary when right in front of it in the warm New York 4 o’clock light we are drifting back and forth between each other like a tree breathing through its spectacles and the portrait show seems to have no faces in it at all, just paint you suddenly wonder why in the world anyone ever did them I look  at you and I would rather look at you than all the portraits in the world except possibly for the Polish Rider occasi...
