So my Mom and Bro are back in Manila from Palawan, and you know what that means.... freedom! Hihi I actually thought that it's going to be a loooooong weekend full of work load, but I guess I got used to it that it all seemed to be alright in the end. I saw what you did there. lol For the last two days, I've been manning out my mom's store, and that means waking up early, punching numerous digits into the cash register, getting immune to strangers looking at me and avoiding the gaze of .... (awkward). It all involved some tedious work especially if I'm in charge of all the money matters - somehow getting the right arithmetic was my job. Here's a bunch of accessories, my Mom and Brother bought for me. It's so awesome that my Mom knows what I want, and my cute brother, who picked the one from the left, is amazing for picking a beautiful piece. Isn't it pretty? A very cute turtle that my brother bought for himself! It's so freakin' cute!...

Drinks on us!

I would not necessarily call this a routine-ary thing, but my girlaloos from high school and I, meet up again for some lunch and drinks at San Mig Pub (our usual mood enhancer place). But before anything else, we gave the new wing at Alabang Town Center a chance to be tasted. We ate at Bannapple, as recommended by Ms. Manauis *wink wink* #24 . Since servings seemed a bit large for our small tummies, we only ordered two dishes for us to share. Patt and I ordered the three sausage parmigiano (if I’m not mistaken); while Drei and Dorothy ordered the chicken with like spaghetti cheese and rice, that I did not like, because I had a past memory of some sort that I ate that almost led me to barfing D:. Anyway, the three sausages were so yummy, that I almost forgot my name! lol Highly recommended. We also had the Apple pie cake (lol, I don't know what it is called), which was okay. I don't really like apples. *bleh* After the most heavenly lunch, we walked around ...

AWKWARDDDDD

This summer boredom and heat is a total bummer, when the only thing you could possibly do is stay indoors,  because allowance is non-existent, and asking parents for money does not seem like a good idea (not unless you do something for them). What possible way could you enjoy summer in months of thrift and heat? Watch all those TV shows you missed, or download movies you never saw in the theater, or better yet, discover new shows to watch . I remember my friend telling me how funny and relate able this show she was watching. Hearing the title from her, gave me a judgement that this could possibly be a good show to watch, because who could not possibly be curious with the title... I just finished watching the pilot episode and it made me want for more, well aside from the fact that it's only for a good 20 minutes show, it also showed Jenna's fight to be acknowledged (well, at least, for the pilot episode). It sucks that we don't have MTV in cable ...

You can't blame me, Mr. Sunny

I'm no fan of sunglasses... not until I diverted myself to wear them again after the intense summer heat we have been experiencing. I have my own wayfarer and aviators, but I'm still experimenting on what type of sunglasses I should really invest in. And when I say invest, I mean, REALLY . There's this type of shades I have been wanting to have since last year, and I haven't really found one in my recent search. Out of desperation to know what it was called, I consulted Wikipedia to give me facts. TADAH! The Browline sunglasses image from Google Image Search With my constant search on this babies, I have recently (like just now) decided, that I totally need to invest in this pair. I really love how it enhances the eyebrows (of course, you can't really see it in sunglasses) because that's what really it is for. I have a huge insecurity with my eyebrows (okay?). Teehee!  So now, where could I possibly buy this 15% look enhancer? It's tru...

Hot Cakes!

The summer heat is burning up my whole sanity! I went to my grandmother's house, which resides one block away, to deliver some pasalubong we bought from Tagaytay yesterday. It was an intense 5 minute walk that totally feels like an hour. -_-' If only I could just walk around naked. LOL kidding So now, I'm clamped inside my room drowning myself with downloads that has long been overdue. I literally have a long list of music and TV series to download, and I guess the list would grow longer as the summer progresses. Summer playlist, here I come! Anyway, here's my latest find! Hot Cakes of El Ten Eleven. They seriously make great sounds! Even if they don't incorporate lyrics inside their music, they still sell like hot cakes (for me, at least). Enjoy! :)

The lazy post

I have not been updating my blog since there ain't nothing to share. All day, I laze around the house, do my daily routine and be boring. Haha! My whole summer vacation turned out to be wrong again. I'm so lazy. I always have this thought that, when school starts, I cannot be lazy no more. That probably is why, I need to make the most of my time being lazy. WTF right? Well, even though I just laze around the house all day, I can still enjoy myself by reading books, cleaning (yes, I enjoy cleaning), watching movies and cranking up my brother. Hihi It's just less than a week before school starts and I do not know what to feel. A mix of excitement, because I'll be seeing my friends, and a mix of sadness.

Today, my mum, bro and I decided to go to the mall to shop for school materials for my brother. I know it's way too early, but I don't want to put up with all the hassles of buying school needs. My parents always assign me on buying this things cause I'm the diva in shopping. Hihi I bought a journal-kind of notebook and the book 'For One More Day' by Mitch Albom. I decided on getting this kind of notebook, since it would already be my last academic year. At least, spend most on the last parts, right? Meanwhile, I bought 'For One More Day' since it was so hard deciding which book to buy. I have been contemplating between the books of Haruki Murakami, Chuck Palahniuk, Cecelia Ahern, and Paolo Coelho. GAH. I have been tuning up to novels that has a life meaning into it. I mean, in terms of value and theme, books that would make such an impact in my life, like my last read- Norwegian Wood. Making me buy For One More Day, makes it to a conclusion that it w...

Summer Girls!

Image
Since my almost 1 month vacation (from a tri-semester school here!) is fast approaching. I'll be making my own summer list. Hoping to be able to do all of it. Hihi. 1. Read books - school has been hectic and in demand for some matters, that I cannot fully concentrate on reading one whole book. (I prefer reading a novel in one or two day sitting. Hihi) books I read, currently-reading and to read . 2. Join a dance workshop/ have dance lessons - I have been forcing myself to move and their ain't no other thing I would want to do other than dancing. My friend Faith and I have talked about this, and I really wish it would push thru. 3. Watch movies - there are a lot of movies piled up here in my laptop, movies I have downloaded but haven't watched because of the lack of time.  4. Go to the beach or have an out-of-town trip with whoever - It's been ages since the last time I have been on an out-of-town trip or the beach. I want to have a new experience this summer! ...
